I remember Jacob today. He was a young man I met at Adobe Mountain School, a juvenile detention center in town. He was so gentle, kind, giving, and had a wonderful sly grin that always made you wonder what he was thinking. I had the privilege of praying with Jacob and praising our Lord together when I visited the boys at Adobe Mountain for our weekly meetings through Chayah.
Jacob had just been released a short time before tragedy claimed his life…he was in the wrong place at the wrong time and was an innocent victim of violence. He is with His Lord Jesus Christ now, loving life with His Savior and helping where he can like he always did here on earth. He will be missed by me and all the Chayah volunteers at Adobe Mountain.
Jacob….know you were loved by so many and will be greatly missed….keep smiling! It is not the same without you…
